REVIEWS:-Nokia's model 3330 is a GSM mobile phone which is clearly targeted towards the youth market in Europe and Asia with its SMS-friendly features, exchangeable covers and also a trendy and stylish design. Aside from this, Nokia has also included WAP in the 3330, which makes it the first phone Nokia targets towards youths with this feature - but we're not sure it's of much use considering the hideous rates charged for WAP access over GSM.

REVIEWS:-

I'd like to start on the Nokia 3220 by saying that I'm surprised that this phone doesn't include, like most Nokia phones, an infrared connection. There is no Bluetooth either so that leaves only WAP as a way to update the phone without having to buy a data cable. The design and the side sticky grips are good but there is a significant problem with the navigation key: It's the kind that has left, right, up and down on the same key and you need to press it straight in the middle for "select", but that's a challenge. Even after two weeks, I still wasn't an expert at doing it and I think that makes the Nokia 3220 less interesting. Another problem is that there is a good speakerphone (other parties don't complain that they hardly hear you) but the output volume is so weak that, as soon as you are in a noisy place, it becomes useless. To be used only in the best conditions. No infrared nor Bluetooth is also a deception.
Of course, the Nokia 3220 is not a high-end phone and therefore we must not be so demanding, yet, some other low-cost Nokias offer more features for the price. The 3220 is not a bad phone: it performs well, holds well in your hand and has an ok camera but the small annoyances outlined above make me think that, perhaps, you would be better off with another Nokia phone such as the 3205, for instance. Sold by Rogers AT&T in Canada.

REVIEWS:-

Nokia 3230 is basically the first smartphone, which could be considered a middle class one. Nevertheless, it has pretty rich functional equipment: it supports EDGE, Bluetooth, Push to talk and has megapixel camera and radio. As usually, we have tested the phone thoroughly and prepared a detailed review for you.

Key benefits

  • Quick mobile data: GPRS class 10, EDGE class 5
  • 1.3 MP camera
  • RS-MMC memory card slot, which is replaceable without having to switch off the phone
  • Built-in radio
  • Image editor
  • Setting Wizard program for quick setting of data transfers, MMS and emails
  • High quality construction

Main drawbacks

  • Use of MMC card of a standard size not possible
  • The keys are sometimes much too rigid
  • The voice memo is limited to minute-long records only
  • Intermittent problems with the earphones connection

Nokia 3230 is positioned into the "middle class" category. When I was using it, however, I did not notice almost any differences from the mobile phones of a higher class. The main reason is that Nokia 3230 uses the Symbian Series 60 OS, which is nearly identical for most of the mobile phones, offering the same functions every time.

Since any smartphone is able to offer much more options that the usual phones, I consider it rather unnecessary to describe the individual pros and cons of the smart phones here.

Straight off at the beginning, we should probably explain this article's title. How come that we classify the Nokia 3230, whose initial price starts at almost 400 Euros, as a mass phone, since nowadays it is easily possible to buy a smartphone at half this price? Well, any direct comparing between the new coming phones and the one-year old ones just does not make sense, even if they offer basically the same functional features. If we compare the prices of the mobile phones when first launched on the market, Nokia 3230 turns out to be really the cheapest one. By this moment, not a single smartphone has been introduced at a lower price.

REVIEWS:-

If you are looking for a stylish phone with some real power, then you must go for Nokia 3600 Slide after Nokia 6600 Slide. This is one of those mobiles which have really designed to perform some really tedious jobs in really amazing and sophisticated ways.
First thing first, its design is something that will really flabbergast you as soft ceramic paints have been used to give it the beautiful and attractive look. To enhance the overall visual appeal metals with glossy surface have been used in this phone to complete that sophisticated look. It uses the sliding style with perfection and makes it look so eye catching that people really fancy buying it. It weighs only 97.3g with 2-inch screen. Screen is something that really makes it even attractive and with the availability of five way navigating key, it becomes easy to explore through the mobile.
Apart from that catchy look, it has some strong features that make it much more lovable by people in general. 240 x 320 pixels and TFT along with 16M colors it certainly becomes a treat for people to watch some nice videos on it. It supports all major file formats along with all known audio formats as well. When it comes to music, it has a dedicated music player in it that can store as many as 3000 songs. It has become possible as it can support a 4GB card. It can also store a good number of video songs and files which can be really amazing to watch with nice screen resolution.

REVIEWS:-

At first glance, Nokia 3500 classic looks appealing, mostly because of the successful mix between the shiny plastic on the front and the rubber-like material on the back. The metallic frame that keeps the phone safe from damage is also eye-catching and might convince some of Nokia's fans to buy it. Unfortunately, all the other features are average or even below average.

Not everyone needs some type of high tech, ultra stylish, corporate level phone, and the Nokia 3500-classic is testament to that. As a basic, run of the mill phone that is perfect for those who just want a device to talk on, the Nokia 3500-classic simply cannot be beat. Imagine taking all of the hard work Nokia threw into making the N95 device, but then put it all into a stylish bargain basement device that contains only features that a Spartan would consider using. That's the best way to describe the Nokia 3500-classic, an accessible device that is perfect for someone who just wants a cell phone without any major bells and whistles.

The Nokia 3500-classic is America bound to the GSM network. It can transmit and receive data via the GPRS or EDGE networks, and it does not support 3G data transfer rates. That's not a problem, however, because the major market for this phone will not care about any fancy gadgets like 3G data transfer.
As a very small phone, measuring approximately 4 inches by 2 inches by half an inch, it weighs in at approximately 81 grams, it is a device that you can slip into any pocket, purse, or backpack without a problem. Due to the small phone size and low price tag, the screen is nothing to write home about, coming in at 128 by 160 pixels and only 262 thousand colors. Furthermore, the battery life on the Nokia 3500-classic also suffers thanks to the small size of the device, pulling only three hours of talk time. The battery does redeem itself slightly with a whopping 288 hours of standby time - but the three hour talk time per charge is tragically low.

Good Points:
Creative back designs of your own
Bad Points
:
Ringtones
Battery life
Charger (hard to find here goes and how fits)
Loses reception easily!!

There are no good points to this phone if it goes flat the way you know is a constant beeping noise until you either turn the stupid phone off or you put the charger in there's nothing worse than being asleep at night and this phone going beep because its flat and you can't find the thing. Also you can't download ringtones no websites or places to ring to download....and also oh the wonderful recorded phone rings you can record yourself they only last 10 seconds and that's at the most this phone is cheap unsatisfying and if I had a chance to buy a phone just like this there is no way in the world...

LG vx 100000

LG vx 100000
product summary:

The good:
The LG Voyager VX10000 has a cutting-edge design with a brilliant touch screen and a spacious keyboard. It offers a generous features set that includes EV-DO support, V Cast Mobile TV Bluetooth, a top-notch Web browser, and an integrated GPS application. And if that's not enough, its call quality was excellent.

The bad:
The LG Voyager VX10000's camera lacks such extra options as a flash and Wi-Fi. The touch screen can be clunky at times, and the streaming video quality and EV-DO connection speed were uneven.

The bottom line:
Though we had some minor complaints here and there, the Voyager's sleek design, generous feature set and excellent performance make it the best LG messaging and multimedia phone by far.

Reviews:
It's become a rite of passage that the autumn season brings more than pumpkins and turkey dinners; it also brings another high-end messaging cell phone from LG and Verizon Wireless. Two years ago, we said hello to the LG VX9800; last year, it was the LG enV VX99000; and now in 2007, we greet the next model in the series, the highly anticipated LG Voyager VX10000. More of a thorough revamp than a simple redesign, the Voyager features everything that we liked from the VX9800 and the enV, but it raises the bar immensely by offering redesigned controls, V Cast Mobile TV, and a huge external touch screen that's both luscious and user-friendly.

While some cell phone watchers have hailed the Voyager as the "iPhone killer," we prefer not to use the expression since it assumes that the iPhone is the device that every other cell phone should be measured against. Also, in many ways the iPhone will always be in a distinct class. But that said, the Voyager VX10000 is one handset that can match--and also surpass--the iPhone in many ways. Wi-Fi is an obvious and disappointing omission, but the Voyager offers many things the iPhone lacks, including 3G support, multimedia messaging, stereo Bluetooth, and an integrated GPS application. It's too bad that all that lavishness comes at such a high price ($299 with a two-year contract), but if you can afford it, the Voyager won't let you down. To find accessories for this phone, see our cell phone ringtones and accessories guide.

Design:
From the outset, the LG Voyager VX10000 looks more like the iPhone than it does its VX9800 and enV predecessors. Gone are the exterior keypad and tiny external display; instead you're greeted by a vibrant touch screen that dominates the front face of the Voyager. As you'd expect from a messaging phone, the Voyager is rather bulky. At 4.64 by 2.12 by 0.71 inches, the Voyager is exactly as tall as the enV, but it's also a bit wider when measured across the front face. Though the change from the VX9900 is noticeable, the Voyager manages to pack its keyboard as well as a long list of features into a trim profile that's a quarter of an inch trimmer than its forerunner's. And at 4.69 ounces, it weighs in at a half an ounce lighter. The result is an eye-catching and slick design that is far more stylish than both the previous LG handsets. It also has a solid feel in the hand and the hinge construction is sturdy.

The touch screen measures 2.81 inches and supports 262,000 colors in a 400x240 pixel resolution. With sharp colors, graphics, and animation, it's a massive improvement over the tiny and ineffective displays on the VX9800 and the enV. And instead of supporting only certain features, you can use the touch screen to access almost all of the Voyager's offerings. In standby mode, the display shows the date, the time, battery life, signal strength, and photo caller ID. It also works as a viewfinder for the camera when the phone is open. You can change the backlight time, the menu font style, and the dialing font size.
To get started using the Voyager, just move your finger to the four controls at the bottom the bottom of the display (if the display is frozen, there's an onscreen unlock control). From left to right, the buttons open the messaging menu, activate the onscreen dialpad for making calls, access the main menu, and open your contacts list. Alternatively, you can activate a shortcuts menu by tapping the top part of the display. On the whole, we were pleased with our navigation experience. Selecting an option requires a firm touch, so we didn't have many problems with pressing a command accidentally. If you're having trouble, you can reset the screen's calibration but it's too bad you can't alter the touch sensitivity as well. While it lacks the iPhone's multitouch functionality, and it's resolution isn't quite as crisp, the Voyager's display counters with a nifty and useful offering of its own. Like the Chocolate VX8550, the Voyager features tactile feedback on its touch controls. You can adjust the length and intensity of the vibrating feedback, which is a nice feature.

LG LX570

Product summary:

The good:

The LG Muziq has an attractive design, a rich multimedia feature set, stereo Bluetooth, EV-DO support, plus access to Sprint's array of 3G services. We especially liked the inclusion of a built-in FM transmitter and the performance speeds.

The bad:

The LG Muziq's touch-sensitive music controls can be tricky to use, and we weren't too thrilled with the skinny side buttons. Speakerphone quality wasn't too great either.

The bottom line:

The LG Muziq is a well-rounded phone with a stylish look and a great feature set that takes full advantage of Sprint's broadband network.

Reviews:

Most of LG's music-oriented cell phones have so far been in Verizon's stable--the
LG Chocolate was the star music phone last year, while newcomers such as the LG VX8600 and the LG VX8700 have also held their own as slim and sexy multimedia handsets. Sprint customers had to look elsewhere for their music needs, such as the Sanyo M1 with its 1GB of internal memory, and the Samsung UpStage with its innovative dual-LCD design. There was one notable marriage of LG and Sprint, however, called the LG Fusic, but it's been awhile since we've seen any kind of update to that phone.

Until now, that is. After a long hiatus, it looks like Sprint and LG have come together at last with the brand-new LG Muziq. It comes with a built-in FM transmitter, a 1.3-megapixel camera,
EV-DO support, and a microSD card slot, as well as access to Sprint multimedia content including Sprint TV, the Sprint Music Store, and streaming music from Pandora. We also like that we could multitask applications while listening to the music. A slender and easy-to-use phone, there were a few design issues that we could've done without (such as thin keys on the side and the touch-sensitive music controls), but the LG Muziq is overall a quality music phone with excellent performance. The LG Muziq will be available for a very affordable $99 with a two-year service agreement with Sprint.

Design:

As far as sequels go, the LG Muziq is far more than just a Fusic II. Featuring a much more streamlined design, the Muziq has discarded the white-and-navy color scheme of the Fusic in favor of a glossy black exterior and glowing red music player controls similar to those of the LG Chocolate. At 1.94 inches wide, 3.8 inches long, 0.61 inch deep, and weighing in at 3.14 ounces, the LG Muziq is a slender and lightweight phone that feels comfortable in the hand and cradles nicely next to the ear. The overall design is rectangular, with clean lines and a smooth finish that's unfortunately prone to fingerprint smudges. We're happy to see a vibrant 262,000-color 1.3-inch diagonal external screen on the LG Muziq. Not only does it display the customary date, time, battery life, signal strength, and caller ID info, it also acts as a camera viewfinder, and it will show the currently playing track whenever the music player is activated. It also supports photo caller ID, which is a nice touch.

The camera lens, flash, and status LED sits above the display, while the music player controls are beneath it. The music player controls are circular, much like the LG Fusic and the Sanyo M1, but they are touch-sensitive, which is similar to the controls on the Chocolate. We're generally not fans of electrostatic touch keys like these because there's always a danger of accidentally pressing a key unless you have a key guard lock. For the Muziq, there are options to either activate or deactivate the key guard lock, so that allows for some flexibility. Another downside to electrostatic touch keys is the lack of tactile feedback, but the Muziq solves this problem with a slight haptic feedback whenever you touch the music player controls. We really appreciate this innovation, as it helped us be aware of when we've actually pressed a key. So while we're not entirely sold on the touch-sensitive music player controls (we still prefer real tactile feedback), we do like the key guard lock options, and we prefer the haptic feedback over nothing at all. Rounding out the phone's exterior are the volume rocker and charger jack on the left spine, while the right spine is home to a music player key, a camera key, a headset jack, and a microSD card slot. Even though all the side keys are raised above the surface, they seem a little too thin for our liking.

Features:

The LG Muziq has a pretty impressive feature set to go along with its stylish good looks. But before we address its multimedia capabilities, we'll start off with the basics. The LG Muziq's phone book stores around 500 contacts, which is a little skimpy for a phone like this. Each entry has room for five phone numbers, e-mail and Web addresses, and a memo. You can save callers to groups or pair them with a photo or any of 31 polyphonic ringtones. Other essentials include text and multimedia messaging, a vibrate mode, an alarm clock, a calculator, a scheduler, a notepad, and a world clock. There are also a number of higher-end features including a wireless Web browser, voice memo recording, voice commands and dialing, mass USB storage, e-mail, instant messaging, a speakerphone, stereo Bluetooth, a memory card manager, EV-DO support, and a music composer so you can create your own ringtones. The LG Muziq is also Sprint's first phone that allows use of a 4GB microSD card, which is great for storing music and image files.

As indicated by its name, the LG Muziq is primarily a music phone. Its external music player controls on the front certainly make that clear, and even though we had issues with the touch-sensitivity of the keys, we really like music phones that have the controls right on the outside. The music player interface is closely tied to the Sprint Music Store, so you can simultaneously download songs to your PC and wirelessly to the phone. You can also use Sprint's Sync Manager software (PC-only, however) and the included USB cable to transfer songs from your computer to the phone. Songs are automatically grouped by title, artists, and genres, and you can create your own playlist if you wish. The interface is rather generic and plain, but at least you can do things like repeat songs or put them on shuffle. But you're not tied to just MP3s for music choices. Thanks to the Muziq's compatibility with Sprint's broadband network, you'll also get access to streaming radio from Pandora, which is an online music service, plus Sirius satellite radio.

Performance:

We tested the dual-band, dual-mode (CDMA 800/1900; EV-DO) LG Muziq in San Francisco using the Sprint service. Call quality was excellent when talking via the handset--callers sounded crisp and clear, and they reported little to no fuzziness on their end. It still sounded as if we were talking on a cell phone, but not excessively so. Speakerphone quality was a different matter--we thought it sounded a little low, and callers said we sounded rather muffled and had to ask us to speak up. We paired the LG Muziq with the Plantronics Pulsar 260 stereo Bluetooth headset and are pleased to report that we managed to stream music wirelessly successfully.

EV-DO speeds on the LG Muziq really make surfing the Web a dream. Pages loaded in mere seconds, the streaming video wasn't pixelated, and there was hardly any rebuffering. Music quality was admirable as well, though songs still sounded a little faded and tinny. The LG Muziq is great for a quick music hit, but we would still prefer a dedicated music player instead.

The LG Muziq has a rated battery life of 4 hours of talk time and as long as 10 hours of music-only mode. Our talk time tests revealed the LG Muziq has a talk time of 4 hours and 22 minutes.

The phone is great but the touch screen is terrible!! My touch screen is already going out after just 2 months of use. I have to take it to the store and see what i can do because i cant even text at times. If my touch screen worked i would give this phone 4 stars. I never hear of any other touch screen phones made by other companies going bad!!!!!

Reviews:

LG and Verizon Wireless made some long-overdue changes with the media player on the Chocolate; there's now a separate music player that play your tunes in the background, and you can listen to all your music with a Bluetooth stereo headset (yes, even protected music). However, Verizon still skimps when it comes to earbuds and USB cables-you'll have to buy them separately. And while the Chocolate's touch-sensitive pad looks like the iPod's famed scrollwheel, it's just a standard four-way navigational mouse, and it won't pause or skip your songs when the player is running in the background. Indeed, besides the one-step Music button and the volume controls, the VX8500 doesn't have any dedicated music controls at all.SMS and MMS messaging options for the VX8500 are par for the course; the phone's keypad is relatively roomy and we didn't run into any performance trouble while typing. That said, we wish the message interface took better advantage of the display; we could only fit about 115 characters on the screen, well short of the 200 we prefer. IM and e-mail fanatics will have to settle for using the mobile Web.
