REVIEWS:-

At first glance, Nokia 3500 classic looks appealing, mostly because of the successful mix between the shiny plastic on the front and the rubber-like material on the back. The metallic frame that keeps the phone safe from damage is also eye-catching and might convince some of Nokia's fans to buy it. Unfortunately, all the other features are average or even below average.

Not everyone needs some type of high tech, ultra stylish, corporate level phone, and the Nokia 3500-classic is testament to that. As a basic, run of the mill phone that is perfect for those who just want a device to talk on, the Nokia 3500-classic simply cannot be beat. Imagine taking all of the hard work Nokia threw into making the N95 device, but then put it all into a stylish bargain basement device that contains only features that a Spartan would consider using. That's the best way to describe the Nokia 3500-classic, an accessible device that is perfect for someone who just wants a cell phone without any major bells and whistles.

The Nokia 3500-classic is America bound to the GSM network. It can transmit and receive data via the GPRS or EDGE networks, and it does not support 3G data transfer rates. That's not a problem, however, because the major market for this phone will not care about any fancy gadgets like 3G data transfer.
As a very small phone, measuring approximately 4 inches by 2 inches by half an inch, it weighs in at approximately 81 grams, it is a device that you can slip into any pocket, purse, or backpack without a problem. Due to the small phone size and low price tag, the screen is nothing to write home about, coming in at 128 by 160 pixels and only 262 thousand colors. Furthermore, the battery life on the Nokia 3500-classic also suffers thanks to the small size of the device, pulling only three hours of talk time. The battery does redeem itself slightly with a whopping 288 hours of standby time - but the three hour talk time per charge is tragically low.
